I've gone as far I can go on the drums, it's time. Been doing research on what it takes. It seems pretty straight forward. I was tempted to go with the kit until I saw the shipping costs. Where's the best place to source the brackets and spacers? By best I mean who has a solid record of customer service. Price is not the best way to evaluate who you do business in my opinion.

Good info from @FJ40Jim

“A prop valve will be needed because of the small front brakes and ginormous rear brakes.
The imbalance can be mitigated by upgrading to the bigger 4runner front calipers & pads with an aggressive semi-met pad, and using the cheapest ceramic pad in the rear.”

@Poser used to and maybe still does sell them as well as rotors

I have my set from @Downey however I don’t think Jim sells them any more … it was 30 years ago lol

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping I won't have to put in the valve, I converted the front over to mini truck discs a few years back and at that time I took the ball out of the master cylinder.
