Tried to order # PT206-60200-02 from Sparks Toyota and they wanted my VIN #. I told them it doesn't matter and that I removed my third row seats and I want the non third row HE cargo mat. They further responded that they have been restricted to only ordering these for HE VIN #'s. Anyone else think that's crazy and has anyone else heard of this?

@Big Timber - I've heard of that for other parts, like the Heritage rims. If you run into a dead end, I have a Heritage mat that is not being used (I have a drawer system), that I'd sell for a good price. No idea what shipping would look like though. Drop me a line if you're interested and we can try to figure it out.
try ordering from a different dealer. Or give them a VIN poached from online somewhere
EXACTLY what I did. I used the COPART one that was in the classifieds. And they accepted it. How silly. Just give the people what they want.

So annoying, I had a dealer tell me that he couldn't sell me rock warrior center caps without a vin and a reason for needing them. Luckily I have a tundra rock warrior trd, so it was easy, and I am replacing he caps because they are oxidized, but what a stupid and unnecessary hoop to make people jump through.
I yanked the 3rd row seats the day after I drove the truck home. I ended up with a Weathertech mat and used that as a template on leftover carpet scrap. It's a light tan on a black interior...no schits given from me. If I hunt, I bring a bunch of Costco black garbage bags to keep the blood confined. I cut up a new scrap every couple of years. Results are more or less the same as the one on page 1.
