I have a 2013 GX 460 and can not for the life of me find a way to get my rig's speedo correct! It is lifted, ~34" tires and re-geared it when I added the lockers front and rear. The funny thing is, is when I lifted, 35" tires, locked the front and rear of my 100 series LC I also re-geared it AND that brought the speedo back down into a couple of MPH of the GPS on my phone! In fact it was a little on the conservative side, at 70 MPH I was actually doing 68 MPH (I liked that!).

So my question for all you 200'ers out there with big tires, lockers and gears, have you found a way to re-calibrate your speedo and odo? I'm asking all of you because there are similarities between our vehicles and years built. I wonder if some of the electronics carries over from the LX to the GX?
I think I may be wearing out Google for how many searches I've done on this topic.

So, in short, anyone re-calibrate their speedo and odo after larger tires?:hmm:

I know, I may be really fishing here...:bang:

Your old 100-series most likely referenced the transmission output shaft for its speedo. So once you corrected the gearing, the axle shaft output is good again.

Newer vehicles tend to utilized the ABS wheel speed sensors for the speedo. So the driveline doesn't have any effect.

Can't help you on how to correct it however as I've not researched. Perhaps someone else may know.

I’ve tried. There is no fix available unless someone has news. Slee offers correction for other series...but no option on the 200.
