2008 LX570 with 140k miles - $21k
Spent 5 years in Utah first 80k miles, then another 5 years on the NE till now. Its been maintained by Lexus dealership since day 1, and formerly owned by a retired professional athlete.
Here's the pics of the undercarriage that were sent. It doesn't look awful to me, but doesn't look like a Southern one. Price is good though.

Thoughts? Def looks like it is overdue for new tires.

IMO LOTS of those suspension bolts are going to be basically impossible to remove without cutting.

If you plan to keep it for a while I'd wait for a truly clean one. They are out there.

I zoomed in on those photos, but it’s hard to tell what’s rust...and what’s crud...because photos seem blurry. Maybe re-shoot with more light and closer to bolts especially around front suspension, lower control arms etc...?

Speaking of crud...
Mine looked horrible...but in my case, it’s just trail/road nastiness and grease.

Underneath, it’s still perty...(before and after cleaning below) proving that there ARE virtually rust-free 08’s out there.

Not saying your photos don’t show rust. They do. It’s just kinda hard to tell how severe.

If the stuff in your photos is all rust?
-Fly somewhere and drive home a winner.

I’m usually pretty lenient on rust, but this one worries me. I think you’d spend a lot of time on rust remediation and still have truck difficult to work on. If you get it, plan on several hours (days?) work on that rust and replacing those shot Latitudes. Probably not worth it?

My 2005 LC had twice that amount after 12 winters. Drove fine and had strong resale for me with zero questions about the rust. Same with my 4R before that. It's really about how much it bothers you because there's very little material concern other than just looking rusty. FWIW it bugs the hell out of me.

Can you share a little about your cleaning process? That looks great!
