Random grommet

Morning all!

My first time posting in the 80 Series section. Have lots of wrench time on an ‘84 FJ45 Troopy and an ‘89 FJ62 but just starting the journey on a new - to me - 3x locked ‘97 FZJ80 (below). Lots for me to fiddle on/improve and on delivery, found the low-beam bulbs were dead so replaced them and in replacing the driver’s side, while fussing with the headlight housing, the grommet below seemed to drop out of nowhere. Looked hard for where it might have come from and examined the passenger’s side but couldn’t decide where it originated.

I’m sure someone knows this piece and can tell me where it needs to go.

Possibly the rubber grommet the hood sits on when closed/used to adjust body lines?

Clean it off, get close up photos of the numbers, plus side view and bottom.

It kind of looks like a make-shift dust cover for the back of the headlight where the bulb goes. Do you have the dust covers? Do you have aftermarket headlights?
