I had a lincoln sp 100 (like 10 years ago) and a friend has the 220v version and there is njust no comparison the larger 220v non portable units,

maybe I dont know what thickness mat. you are welding, but in my book I would rather have too much power than not enough,,,, and with a smaller machine you are limiting yourself, the first pass rates as a preheat,,I don't know anyone that is entirely happy with the smaller machines,

Still available from Toyota, $54.00.

looking for early fj40 door handles/interior latching stuff..

Looking for early fj40 door handles and interior latching mechanism...
thanks,
manny

I've used setups with gas and with flux core, 110 and 220, with varying wire thicknesses, and probably anything else you can come up with. And I can get nice welds out of my roommates cheap old welder (which is now broke) which I think came from lowes. I mean sure it doesnt compare to a really nice expensive welder with gas like the one I used at the University but they can get the job done if you know how to use them.

tailight assembly needed

wife waxed my fj62 with her volvo of all things. I'd like to find a used tailight assembly, driver's side lense and all....probably don't need the gasket but all the plastic. Anyone with leads (other than local Toyota) let me know. Thanks.
