it always the guy with the 40 that has the tools. The guys with the 80's just talk about what oil to run.

Bwaaaahaaaaahaaaaaa

ROTFLMAO.

I'm gonna' have to save that one. Brilliant!

Just a lead for you....

Took my wife out for an anniversary dinner about a month ago, and found a Toyota mechanic next door that had several 40s sitting around.....Ft Mill, SC, just outside of Charlotte....

Went back and took pics, but lost them somehow......

I'll try to find the number in the directory is he is listed.

WARN birfield eliminator kits...

Anyone have one of these set ups that they are not using, want to get rid of, or know of someone that might?

Let me know.

Thanks!

Wanted: ABV smog valve for 82 FJ60

I need a working ABV valve for my 82 FJ60. It is the big valve with that has 2 valves in it that sits on the fender. It is the one that looks like a tophat on top.

If you can check it out and make sure it holds vacuum with hand pump that would be good. You put the pump on the line on the bottom of top hat or the middle line and hold the top line and see if it holds a vacuum.

Also on the bottom valve it should hold a vacuum.

Let me know how much you want for it .

PM me or email.

Thanks

No it's disassembled right now ,but I tried to operate he motor before I started the rebuildand it wouldn't even make any noise. I called a local auto electric shop and they said if they can't rebuild the motor they can probably find a suitable replacement. Idon't have any pics and couldn't send them if I did cause it's beyond my computer skill level to do more than send an e-mail.

I just hit up these guys for a VTV last week, with no luck. Hopefully, you'll have better luck. If not, hit up cruiserdan. He had the best price on the VTV...which is just another cheap plastic part we need for our trucks here in the wonderful state of CA.

Any type of time frame before you work on 80's sliders?
