Re: Looking to buy Aux Fuel Tank, JF40

Stew

your PMail got eaten somewhere.

I'm just touching base, came back from working on the cruiser and wanted to know if we are still on. Like I mentioned, I don't need it right away take your time, no need to rush to get it out unless it fits in with your plans - but I will take it anytime.

Thanks

71 fj40 radiator

I was wondering if anyone had a good used stock radiator for a 71 fj40 land cruiser? Also does anyone have a decent stock steering wheel for a 71 fj40. Thanks. Email me at my692002@aol.com

Re: 4spd shafts

what year axles are you runnin?if you got the d-shafts when you got the axles just pull em apart and mate them to the piece that bolts onto the t-c.should slide right together.

Re: sm465 to 3speed transfer

i have a classic cruisers adaptor shaft for a 465/3spd tc.never installed it.let it go for what i paid minus $20.00.

Re: 4spd shafts

im runnin the 73 axles but i need the 4spd shafts for length and the pinion flanges for the 4spd stuff.then use the slip yokes(3spd)for the t case side of things.
make sense :dunno:. thats the only thing i can think of doing, cheaply.

Re: Used ARB Bar for 80 Series

I just bought mine from Sam's Offroad. I luckily live up near Seattle so I just went to ARB and picked it up (no shipping). I paid $545 from Sams...no tax, no shipping. Saved hundreds.

I would have to say, the ARB bumper is hands down the best engineered ,bolt on component I have ever seen. Fit's perfect, looks KILLER.

Good luck. Call Sam's, he will swing a deal with you.

I though about it and I would like to buy the tank anyway. I can use the fittings and skid plate and I can use the old tank for a template to weld up a new one.

What do you think?

Re: Need T-case for 78 FJ40

Definitely interested. I'm still waiting to hear whether or not I can scavenge the one off of the rotting 77 up the road from me. If that falls through I'll have to look elsewhere. I'll let you know here if I'm going to need it. Any idea what you might want for it?

Feel free to email me with more info.
