60 Series windshield trim strips needed

Hey. I just replaced the windshield on my 62. The trim strips did not fair too well. The plastic inserts (attached to the underside of the chrome to help it keep its shape) were so badly rotted that they were stuck to the weatherstrip and just came out in pieces. If anyone has a parts 60 or 62 and wants to pull the windshield trim, I am a buyer. It should come off pretty easy on most rigs. You just lever it out with a plastic putty knife or the like. I can probably salvage all the parts from mine (if I have to...corners, sides and top) except the lower strip. I'll buy just the lower strip or the whole set (if it makes it more worth someone's time.)

a NEW bender and 1.75 die is about 500.00 bucks and a tube notcher is another 175.00(not needed but advised)...so total is a about 700 thats not a bad deal if you get 25% off of an order...i am "in" if you guys can get me one for under 400.00 plus shipping....let me know

Sure, good idea. For my brakes. 1970 single res. 3 bolt master to a dual res. 4 bolt. Rumor has it they shut down a year ago though huh? Well I'm f*cked then aren't I?

There are other options. Like Flintstoning it.
