Dearest Members of the Cottonland Community!
What a fine time we had in the interior of the great state of Arkansas!!!
The evenings filled with levity and merriment will go down in the annuals of the great club known as Cottonland. The nectar of the Gods was cold as a January night in Virginia, plentiful as cotton at the time of picking and enjoyed in the way a person enjoys the opening on a letter from home.
By Gawd! What an astonishing thing these machines designed and built by the people of the Rising Sun have proved to us once again as we forced them up the hills and down the valleys in the area purposely know as Superlift! Sadly a few did not see the last day and were forced to retire early in the glorious event. We were led on these trails by a benevolent, oracle like god properly named BOSS MAN! Dearest members you all should be blessed to by led around by such a man!
Our fearless leader, a man that stares into the night seeing only the miraculous invention known as the microphone and hearing music from a group of musicians known as Journey, led this merry group till nearly dawns early light. Only the last night did he reveal a level of geriatrics that had not been witnessed before. But Oh, how he deliberately pushed his steed up the level four trail known as Can Opener. He by the end of the weekend was spent as a cannon of the beloved and bunkered Army of the Confederacy in the great river town known as Vicksburg!
Lastly he teased this motley crew, but never truly defiled a chair.
Our lovely lasses showed us their best sides and fronts and backs as they to faces the rocks. Wheeling by day and preparing fine meals by night. They will never be forgotten and we shall not go the miles and miles down the dark trails without them. Some had never braved these environs before, Battle scars were amassed and yet the new lasses came through. The veterans of our endeavor again came through with flying colors. GOD himself must have employed such muses as he created this great world that we have come to love.
Our courageous ensemble grew as a new soul, a fan of the team of crimson, hounds tooth hats and elephants joined us in a struggle to conquer to peaks only to fall on his arse on the last evening! But by GOD! He can put match to charcoal and helped also by the introduction of tossing of silver pieces.
Our man of extreme intelligence and a rather large leather case for carrying the resources only Jefferson Davis himself could visualize put them to use and made sure that many of the beloved were kept cool with Kitchen Aid comfort. BRAVO SIR!
And I was joined once again on the battlefield by my beautiful and most aggressive of drivers, my champion, Debbie. Most men are never as lucky as I!
Captain Rhett Butler, gun runner and riverboat gambler, would be jealous!
My fellow Cottonlanders! If you did not join us in this time that the Gods of Cruiserdom blessed us with.
You must join us in our next crusade against the ROCKS!
