raising the roof?

I think a rolled 80 with roof damage is a perfect candidate for a pop-up conversion such as this.

I was just thinking... not so much a roof tent.. but since we have a hatch and a tail gate, are there any products that attach to the back basically lengthening the 80 for sleeping arrangments? Like tent material that snaps/fastens around the edge of the rear hatch, down the sides and then to the tail gate, adding maybe an extra foot or so to the length of the bed area?
Just another idea if you don't remove the 2nd row and just fold them down.
Any products like that?

OK - so where do you mount the gen set and HVAC unit .....

g bell, you can slip a simple tarp under the upper tailgate hatch, let it close with the bottom tailgate open, and secure it underneath with bungies. Totally waterproof and you can sleep with the middle seats still installed.

spartan you really live up to your name don't you? never yet seen a westy with either of those things...
