Hi,

I'm installing a raingler net with the 8 point mounting. It has three d-rings each side.

has anyone installed one recently?

The middle d ring is attached to the base of the seatbelt retractor on the c-pillar.

I have the panels off, and where I need to make a slot is a lot of air ducting.

Can you advise how you dealt with the slot and the ducting?

Did you run the webbing through the duct and cut a slot through the ducts? Seems like a hack.

Hafta admit, I had to Google "Raingler" to figure out what you're talking about. But I'm anxious to see how this looks when it's installed. I assume this is to keep the pooches under control when they are with you?

Yes, pups, and to prevent cargo from becoming a deadly projectile. I got in on the group buy on here earlier in the year and am just finally getting around to the installation.

I just did this last week. The provided length for that d ring is not long enough to get past the ducts. I went under about where your sharpie pen top is at and up thru the notch. I called the tech help for Raingler and they sent me about a two inch longer strap that worked perfect for free. Both sides.

Before with the shorter strap and after with the longer. The other side went so much better after I boogered it up trying to get that short strap thru. It was ridiculous. The zip tie fish is a solid help. Going to just put a rubber grommet over the scratches. Literally smooth as could be on the other side with the longer straps.
