Hi all,

I have three 70 series Landcruisers and 2 of them have annoying leaks when it rains.
Both passenger and driver side footwells get wet when driving in the rain - the water drips straight down onto one's feet.

No leaks around the glass of the windscreen. I've also tried sealing the area at the bottom of the windscreen panel.

Any advice before I start taking them apart?

Cheers
Grant

Have you sealed the gap below the windshield (where the windshield folds forward)?

My 1985 HJ75 leaked much as you describe and a bead of silicone along the gap I mentioned corrected the issue.

Mate, my RJ70 does the same thing. Rust straight through the weather channel and firewall. goes straight onto my feet in heavy rain. ive put up some pics, search rust in firewall its here somewhere!

Although I don't have the leak, I had been considering sealing up that gap myself, as I could see it would hold miosture, Decision made.

A tube of silicone is relatively inexpensive. :)
