Channel 3 has been the default for CB since I've been with BBCNN. I like knowing exactly which channel to tune to every run.

With the growing number of Ham operators maybe we should agree on standard 2M and 70CM frequencies?

If we want to get fancy we could use digital squelch codes too.

The guys from Nor Cal use 146.460 as a standard for 2M. We seem to have a fair amount of crossover between the two groups on runs so maybe that would be a good frequency for 2M?

Do we even need to have a 440MHZ standard?

I like the idea of running the same as the NorCal group...it's worked for us so far.

No input on the 440...haven't touched that side yet ;)

Well ive played with both bands but 2M seems to be the more popular of the bands as far as 440 goes we can use if we need to but would recomend setting a freq at one of the meetings that way we all know what it is as far as 2M goes the 146.460 works well its what i meant to post on the club run dont know why i said 147.460 anyway i use the 147.360 + PL123repeater and its linked to the 147.060 + PL 123 repeater so you guys can talk to me in fallon from reno also use the 145.450 - PL 123 repaeter and it covers from Fallon all the way to Reno no problems also covers silversprings and fernley
