Radiator Shroud Ideals

Gentlemen,

Before I set out to the local Pick-N-Pull, I thought I'd check in to see if any of you have found a suitable radiator shroud that fits reasonably well with a stock pig radiator - 1979.

I have found a universal shroud on-line, but I'm not liking the looks of it all that much - may have to go with it in the end though (Plan C).

What I guess I'm hoping for is someone who can say something like - "I found that the 93-97 Jeep Cherokee fits really close with some minor mods..." I can then search and purchase on-line. (Plan B)

I made a cardboard mock-up of a shroud with bolt holes, width, hose and fill neck location to carry with me to the Pick-N-Pull. If I find something close I can make mods (Plan A).

FYI, no problems with cooling, just want to cover the exposure of the fan blades.

Lil' John,

I've been meaning to ask you about your shroud idea. I haven't built one yet either and thinking about the half idea. My 5.3 doesn't get above 190 degrees and wondering if I even need a full shroud. What was your reasoning for a half shroud?

So, your saying the motor won't need a full shroud for cooling.
