I am hoping to find the front woven wired screen that fits in front of the radiator for my 1960 FJ25 LC. Also, any info on what an original soft top looked like. Mine has a two piece top. One covers fron seat area, second covers rear passenger/cargo area. So old the side and back panels won't zip together. RHW

lets see the tops you have... sounds like you have the 1/2 cab the Downey offered

I don't know if I asked this... so chalk it up to old guy.... where in NY are you?

John, I am just outside Amsterdam. It looks like we need to meet! I may have communicated with you before. I seem to remember your Maine indication...

!. are those FJ25's yours? 2. Do you show at any of the local or regional shows? 3. I now have 4 FJ's 1960 FJ25 soft top, 1963 FJ40, 1968 FJ40, 1979 FJ43 Soft top.
Float an idea about meeting up. I think I am about an hour from East Greenbush. Rod W.

...yes. It is pretty well stock right now in some respects. i believe it is a bit lifted, has some non-stock engine components, a boogered emergency brake, and a variety of other issues. Like many FJ's that are sold by the larger dealers, I think they polish them up, get them functional, and off they go. I am pretty sure I paid too much but I didn't want to lose it for a couple K. I haven't registered or insured it yet. Maybe next week, I think it will pass inspection. Just fiddling with it in my spare time. Considering taking my '68 up to the Hadley, NY show on Saturday if weather looks decent. I have done that show 3 or 4 times. Nice show in a small park, on grass. About 40 minutes from me. Hoping it will start! RHW

I really don't "need" another cruiser. The recently obtained '60 FJ25 will be my last until all of them are running, and presentable. Although I did see a '62 with numerous parts for sale on this forum a few days back...
