Constant tension clamps are used more for their ability to prevent warranty claims due to hose failure than for the convenience of assembly.
how does it prevent or reduce warranty claims? I have the worm screw clamps. is it worth the hassle to change back?

Good to know and also makes sense. All of my worm drive clamps have needed to be tightened after a few weeks or when it's gotten super cold out.
