I've been running a Koyo Rad for 4 years 30K + miles with zero issues. That being said it I had to do it over again I'd go TRad. But if I was hurting for money I may try a Koyo again but probably not.

The 290 radiator has a tighter fin pitch and possibly different internal components used due to EPA manufacturing changes at the time. Both radiators are identical when it comes to fit. And it would be tough to verify if there is any true performance difference in most use-cases.
Mr T changed the fin pitch at the same time they removed the A/C condenser fan.
I opt’d for the 290 rad on my 07 as I have decided to just keep it all stock.
