quick question about calipers, and cv boot...

i have an 87 runner, is it normal for them to have 4 piston calipers in the front and how hard is it to replace a cv boot on the axle side

Yes, all 4WD Toyota trucks have 4-piston calipers in the front.

We just had a thread about CV joints and tips on replacing them.

Oh and make sure you get a cv boot clamp tool and it should be pretty easy to do if you get your spindle off, just unbolt the cv take boot off put one pack with grease put back together...
