Been talking to clint (@cwags12 ) over at HeritageCruisers for what seems to be about the better half of 2023 on getting some tool-bag brackets made with some of his fancy 3D printing. And sure enough - he sent me the first set off the printer and I must say they are really nice. So if you are needing those brackets (like me) after a restoration (as they were spot welded on from factory), give him a shout. Pics below of my application for a 1981 US Spec FJ40.
Additional parts: 3 clamps and new rubber strap from Heritage, misc pan-head bolts from ACE Hardware - including a nut that was wrong because they are always misplaced in the bins, Cruiser Corps aerosol paint in matching Beige, Rust-Oleum black spray-paint for touchup, 2 broken drill bits, scrap wood for template testing and a few Sierra Nevada Oil Hopped IPAs for good measure.
This job took way longer than expected because the PO had used 3 different bolts for the rear seat mounting....took me a solid hour to match the right thread pitch and length to the original holds (clearly they should all be the same). FPITA.
