Question on Center Differential Lock (1 Viewer)

hello,

I found a 2000 Lx470 locally. I noticed when I press the center differential lock during parking and at H gear, the VSC off light came on. Is this normal ? Also a side question, would a 99 Lx470 engine works in 2000 LX470 ?

VSC off when the diff is locked is normal, iirc. Engine is from the same generation and nothing major changed around then so should work.

Funny you mention the CDL,

I have found that if I lock my ctr diff and continue to drive I'll eventually get a TRAC light error,

Have to stop and shut off the rig and restart to get it to clear, I'm guessing some connections or the like need to be cleaned or something.
