question for bicycle mechanics

My tire inflation fitting for my compressor is showing age and will likely require replacement. Does anyone have a nice durable unit they like? Shraeder and presta cabability would be a plus.

I have one that I hacked off of Topeak floor pump...works great and does both Presta and Shrader valves.

Silca...a little on the pricey side but it will last you a lifetime.

I like the old Silca heads. They press-on to presta valves and thread-on to Schreader. No moving parts.

I've just got a plain, old schrader chuck on a quick-connect, and I keep a couple thread-on presta adapters on the compressor Most bikes in my garage are schrader. It'd be nice to have a presta chuck on quick-connect, anyone seen them?

That is what I'm taklking about. not a floor pump....a fitting useful for my compressor....A nie big brass silca head is what I used to have but I seem to have misplaced it.

the silka head has a hose barb on the back... just use a barb on a quick-conect.
or i gues you could use any other head...

Use a regular SV adaptor for your comressor and have a few of these PV adaptors handy:....
