How does Toyota determine, that i dont live in a gated, or very rural community, where I dont have to worry about that? They just assume I live in a high crime area? If i were parked in such an area, i could make that decision on my own. But when i am parked at a condo in a ski resort, i could start up my vehicle from my condo and get in it a few minutes later without having to restart.
you see, one of my reservations on buying a 200 or 100 series, is that i have it on good authority that it takes an experienced, well equipped Toyota dealership 6 hours to replace the starter motor on a 200 series. It only takes me 30 minutes on my fj60. I do plan on taking my 200 on some very remote excursions. I dislike having to use my starter more than i really
need to.
