FYI
Beginning Thursday, may 28 the Missouri Department of Transportation plans to close the westbound ramp from the Poplar Street Bridge to southbound I-55 and westbound I-44 for a month. Beginning Monday, drivers will be able to exit off of the Poplar Street Bridge to go east on I-44, where the workers are finishing the ramp. Motorists also will be able to exit off of I-44 east at Washington Avenue, and make a U-turn to merge onto westbound I-44.

Suggest the alternate route
Take the outer loop either 255 south or 270 west

I'm ready for the PYS break from the real world

Thanks for the update

I just wish I understood what it means since I rely totally upon my GPS (her name is Victoria also) to get me there. But I will write this down so when I reach this area I will be able to pretend like I know what's up.

Tony, just take the bypass like last year and it will be fine.

Hope to get there early enough to get our usual spots before the side by side people get there for there deal.

Day real is gonna go all Dave Matthews on that bridge!

The 255 south route is actually faster than going through STL. 270 puts you in a lot of STL traffic but would also work.

I was headed to flat nasty once pulling the trailer and was passed just before 255 by a guy I know that was also headed there in his heep. I went 255 he stayed on 64 and went through town. He passed me again after we were on 44 for about 10 miles.

Fxxxin' STL traffic sucks!

But he got to brag..." dude, my Jeep is so fast I passed a Toyota guy twice"

Thanks for the help Billiam. I don't wanna set in traffic.

I asked a Co worker to swap days off with me so I could have Friday off as well...if the Boss Lady says it's ok...if can leave Friday morning as well!
Hope she's in a good mood when she gets the email!

We will arrive Sat morning, take off from our house as early as we can.

Ahhhh

Each picture more beautiful than the next!

Ok. So no Friday morning for me is looking like the way it's gonna be. Corporate policy states 9 days max Vacation time without special approval.....so I asked for special approval from the big wigs.....still waiting, but it's doubtful.

9 days out and my engine is blowed up. Got it started on Friday. No oil pressure. I think I have a back up engine and maybe can put new bearings in this one. It did run, so that's good.

I can also bring the side by each and the bike and forgo the wheeling part again this year.

Fix the damn engine and go wheeling with us!
