Pulling wires from back to front

Morning,

I am planning on pulling wires this weekend to connect the lights in my Slee rear bumper to switches and batteries in the front of the vehicle. Anyone got any advice on how to do this well?

My initial thoughts are to pull the wires through the frame, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten.
 
If you’re just wiring for driving lights you can easily tap the trailer harness. It’s already back there and properly fused.

When I put on my rear bumper I put a breakout box Inline of the trailer connector, handy for hooking up the bumper lights, switching a bumper reverse camera etc. try the rlc bumper thread or my build thread for pics
 
With the Rigid lights, and the additional brake and reverse lights on the Slee bumper, is that too much amps to pull through the trailer wires? I initially ran some very high gauge wiring, and it melted. I certainly don’t want to melt the trailer wiring.
 
The trailer wires are suitable for marker and signal lights. Most lights today are led and draw very low amps.

It’s easy to calculate the amp load based on the light wattage (divide by 12). Then use a lookup table to see what load the wire gauge can bear. I estimate the trailer wires at 16, 14, and 12 gauge. They aren’t all the same size, two are pretty beefy, might even be 10 gauge.

I have used the frame as a chase for wiring on several LC and find it one of the safest places for front to back wiring.
