Nice find. I swear I saw that truck a few months ago over near Sports Arena and thought how clean it looked.

Only 40th around town I've seen wih the black center caps.

This one was up in Del Mar and I just painted the caps a metallic dark gray because they were the nasty bleached yellow plastic. It was a dramatic improvement. I also ordered a new wood trim kit for the interior because it has sun damage as well. Even the top of the steering wheel is severly sunburned. Surprising though with this sun damage that the exterior paint is in such good shape.

Interesting find

Today, while going through the new cruiser, I opened the rear storage compartment on the passenger side and saw a
toyota oil filter box. No big deal I thought, until I opened it. It was a "new Toyota owner" gift - free first oil change, from Kearny Mesa Toyota. Also, inside the box was a blank key, probably placed there by the PO. I wonder if KMT will still honor the free oil change if I bring in the filter

Trust me, after reading your story, it sealed the deal. I am willing to pay a bit more in gas money for the added protection of "The Tank". Plus the fact my daughter thinks they're cool .
