Yeah, mine is just a "few days" from being done, too. But I gotta replace my squeeky water pump now.....

You should build a cable cage for the PTO while you're at it. It really helps when the cable is at some extreme cable and won't allow it to come off the roller. Also might be a good idea to drill out the sheer pin hole to a 1/4" so you can pull a lot more. The stock sheer pin is :bust:

It is the plate steel in the first pic that keeps the cable from comming off the drum...

Speaking of which I need to get some more cable. Blew another line in Bend trying to winch myself out to take out the long inner axle shaft that I blew.

You staying with metal cable, or going to blue rope, PW, I mean, GW?

Cable for now since I don't have the job at the moment. It's $50 for a 100' I think somewhere around here. Gotta ask a friend where to go to get it.
