PTO Spooling problem (1 Viewer)

Coolerman You're right, the housings are the same. You could change the drive gear and the shifter and use it as a F-N-R box. Wish I'd thought of that. But I guess I wouldn't have known until I compared the two. Check and see if you can find those parts and let me know if you're interested in the box.
Desertpat I tried that first but it didn't work. Wish it were that simple. If you respool the line so it winds in on the bottom of the drum, it hits the winch frame.

Tried out my winch set-up with the correct gearbox installed. Worked well. Might be something to this PTO winch after all.
Thanks to everyone that helped me out with this and other PTO threads.
