Did you crack your PTO winch head and now have a pile of "useless" parts?

I need the rear angle iron crossmember to fit an FJ55 and one to fit the FJ45LV. I also need the shims that go between the frame and this crossmember for both trucks as well.

I may be interested in more parts if you have them.

the angle iron part is easy just drill holes in a new piece cut to length and bolt it on .my 40 and 45lv used the same piece ive made several over the years and they worked fine you can get angle iron at lowes and most hardware stores now good luck

That's plan "B" if I can't find what I need.

I can get the dimensions off the 55 unit I have if needed, not sure what shims your looking for?? I don't recall any on the 55 I took apart, but it's been awhile:)

The shims I'm refering to are in this exploded view from Spector http://www.sor.com/sor/cat071.tam?xax=15816&page.ctx=cat071.tam (parts "AC" and "AE") but unfortunately in this case Spector doesn't specify which vehicles need them. If the '55 doesn't need it so much the better!
Dimensions would be handy if they are available.

is it the "AC"? I don't remember taking those off the 55, but it's been almost a year, I can look thru the box of stuff to see if they're in there. probably won't be until the weekend.

Did you ever get those frame extensions?

Yep, I got those. I'll probably knock out the rivets on the original bumper mounts next week or so and then start getting the PTO installed.

Still looking for various PTO parts. What 'cha got??

i cracked a winch head about 20years ago welded it back together and am still using it so there may not be that many useles winches out there good luck

Still looking!!

are you in cranbrook? I'm 3 hours south
anyway have a full PTO set up for 69FJ55 that I've been holding onto if you're interested. Its a vacuum 3 speed coupled to the PTO tc with all the shafts to the winch. even has the bumper and bumper extensions. as slow as my project has been I would consider letting it go. shipping would be prohibitive though.

I'm in Cranbrook sometimes just not right now. I'm about a week south of you! There are some parts there that are definitely interesting but I wouldn't need everything. Let's see how it is when I'm heading north again.

FJ55 specific PTO parts needed are the front bearing mount that bolts to the inside of the drivers side frame rail.

I can also use the flange that slips over the winch head and takes the shear pin.

Other miscelleaneous parts also are needed. What do you have?
