It was dry and seasonably cold (which it hasn't been all winter)!
I didn't really get into hard-core calculations for the tongue extension, my main goal was to allow the trailer to jacknife completely (perpendicular to the back of the Cruiser) without the trailer tub contacting the rear corners of the Cruiser body, like it had done in the past on tight trails. I wanted to accomplish this while allowing a cooler mount to go in front of the tub, too.
Worked out really well, the trailer is well-balanced, still tilts backward to sit on its "ass" easily, and tracks really well behind the Cruiser. I can't complain!
