Hello Guys,

My car have a problem which is when the weather wet or raining the headlight turns on (Car is off not on) then I have to take off the cable of battery for approx. 8 hours then it return normal.

So what what the cause of the problem?

Someone tell me the problem is from the silicon of sides of the windshield, because the water enter from the sides then it touches some electric things inside of dashboard from outside (water doesn't enter to inside)

I changed my windshield before 8 years, but I didn't face this problem until before 3 months.

Thank you,

Most likely the trim on each side was not installed properly. The trim is riveted to the A-Pillar and if other methods of attachment are used water can leak into the holes right down onto your fuse panels in the footwells

Lots of windshield threads here with pics for reference.

Thank you appreciate🙏, I will check the threads

Even if the windshield installer used rivets, they can wear out and no longer hold the trim correctly against the metal pillar material and it will start to leak. I just had to re-rivet my trim pieces to stop a leak.
