i have a 1987 4Runner which i am considering to sell.

it has 196K miles
top-end rebuild at 193K, which included the timing chain and water pump.

new 31" BFGs, 10k miles on them at most.

helper springs in the back to fix sag.

new radiator and alternator, and as of recently, a new starter.

replaced transmission that works beautifully.

some rust. not pretty, but not bad.

hard top is solid, wiper doesn't work.

electronics work well, as well as having AC.

e brake isn't working, but is likely to be fixed.

what do i have here? i'll post pics soon.

replaced chain so its a 22RE...

replaced alt and starter... deduct 500 bucks for not rebuilding them...

MN rust is inevitable....

what trans is in it? add 500 if its a R150F

deduct 100 if it has rear blocks...

granted the interior is not trash and the windows work,

no more than $2700

little as $1800

when people post stuff like this, in a Toyota enthusiast site, IMO it opens the flood gates on ridiculous prices.

This isn't Kelly Blue Book. People are getting smarter, they are learning how to use a computer.

I for one don't like paying top dollar. I know you want to sell it for top dollar. Why don't you just post it in the classifieds and take offers?

All this is doing is raising the prices for anyone wanting to sell that has moderate search skills.

And IMO, it's not tech.
