If you’re selling your 200 Series and previously had an Icon suspension installed but have since returned it to the factory suspension, is that something you’re required or expected to disclose as a seller?

If it's a used vehicle, I would not expect that.

Nor would I expect the seller to proactively say if the suspension is OEM and original from vehicle being new.

If that is important to the buyer, they should ask the seller to verify. If the seller knows or cares to share....

Yeah I'm putting this in the responsibilities of the buyer. If they are the kind of person to care whether that was in the history, they can ask.

I voted based on the title alone. After reading your question, I’d say it’s a used vehicle and the buyer’s due diligence should be what you follow as the seller. Don’t hold back any issues or history that’s significant, but so long as you’re not talking about engine swaps, etc I think you’d be fine assuming you used good OEM components for the refit. HTH.

When I sold my 100 to another Mud member, they specifically asked whether the suspension had been modified. Good due diligence on their part. Buyers should always ask about things important to them. Of course, if I had modified the suspension (I had not), I would have disclosed it up front.

The seller should not misrepresent the vehicle in any way, but has no duty to tell you history of previous mods. If you ask, they should tell you what they know.
