The recent alternator/mud thread reminded me...

A few months back I was spraying the driver's side wheel well with water at the local car wash, and it seemed to have caused something to go off. Can't remember what it was - alarm or horn - but something went off.

Has anyone else encountered something similar?

Any risks pressure washing the wheel wells?

Nothing special. When you bend down to get up there into the wheel well, just don't get in such a tight squat that you press the alarm button on the key fob in your pocket.

:wacky::rofl:

Haha. Possible.

I have knocked balance weights off wheels with a pressure washer before. I daydream like crazy though, so ymmv...

I did that recently while crawling under the front of the car to drain the oil. Somehow I hit the panic button on the key fob in my pocket and I almost game myself a concussion.
