I built a composite deck made with apex-type floors (but its all plastic, no wood filler). After grilling and frying stuff on the grill for past year, I noticed the floor getting darker from buildup of grease mostly.

So I just purchased a 2000 psi pressure washer, and spent an hour 1 day, and another hour the week later. It cleaned up a lot of cr@p like gum, mud, bird droppings, etc. Some grease. There still darkening on some area where grease has splattered for the past year.

How high can I go psi-wise with any pressure washer that will be effective for cleaning out vinyl decking? 3000, 5000?

Will higher power damage the floors?

I wouldn't go anymore pressure but try some stuff called TSP...it can be found at the big box stores or a paint store should have it. READ the label instructions!! Do a test spot in an inconspicious spot to make sure it doesn't cause any damage.

Have you try oven cleaner ??
I wouldn't go any higher on the PW.
I have a 4k psi and had some oil stains on the drive way..
It took the oil stain along with the concrete...

The rotating nozzles work really well to clean stuff up. They are basically a zero degree nozzle that rotates 360degrees.
