I hacked it off after the muffler and they failed me at emissions. They wouldn't even put the probe in untill it came out further. I went to Autozone, bought three flex pipes and 20min later I passed with flying colors. I could take it off but, it doesn't get in the way and I'm lazy.

I may end up doing a manual trans and an Orion, or something similar. At least I would do manual and +np203. The way I see it, I spend double or triple the money and get more than double or triple the results.

I totally agree. My only hold-back is that I had my tranny rebuilt about 20K ago.

Sure does! Look at the before pictures, the one that shows the quarter from rear/oblique. You can see the flex pipe passing through the shackle.
