I need the help of some stereo geeks on this forum
I got an Infinity Basslink powered sub but it's not producing sound. What I was curious about is how much voltage should I expect to find at the RCA plug that goes into this unit? Another words, how much voltage does a typical single DIN stereo puts out of its pre-amp RCA output on the back of the head unit? I need to figure out if it's the long Monster RCA cable or if the Basslink is having issues.
Oh yeah, the power is good to the Basslink as well as the remote turn on signal from the HU.
The unit is Sony MEX-BT4100P and I can't seem to find anything in their manual. Here's the manual http://pdf.crutchfieldonline.com/ImageBank/v20121209130700/Manuals/158/158BT4100P.PDF
Not sure if it's suppose to be 4volts or 1-2volts DC.
Thanks.
EDIT: Crutchfield tells me it's 2vdc.
