Had no clue you could get a non-turbo diesel manual Prado in some parts of the world, this thing is stripped, not even a radio!

I don't hate it.

The U.N. and affiliates around the world love Landcruisers, all of them!
One of the reasons I chose a Landcruiser type product.
As international as LandRover, Nissan, Ford, Mitsubishi is, in critical situations, the go-to vehicle are almost always Toyota products.

Cool find! Did not know that Toyota still uses the "LJ" chassis code and that the 5L-E can trace its roots back to the 2L. Even the naming conventions are standing strong against the test of time!

"It delivers an impeccable balance of power and efficiency."

In that case I question the efficiency. :p

I would love to have a manual paired with a more powerful engine, even the 2.8L in Australia Prado's would be fine.
As an Aussie expat who has driven a few 2.8L Prados - I would take my auto GX460 every day and twice on Sunday.
