PRADO 150: FJ Cruiser rims and 285/70/17s?

Considering you found them on Facebook Marketplace, I assume you'll be picking them up in person and not having them shipped to you.
If that's the case, grab a floor jack (preferably an easy rolling hydraulic jack), drive over to the buyer and ask if you can mount on tire on one of your front corners.
When mounted, start your rig and turn your steering wheel lock-to-lock.
No rubbing, you're golden, pay the guy and drive away happy.
Rubbing, say, "Thank you, but no thank you." No harm, no foul, just the gas/time spent getting there.
If you go with these rims, be aware of the type of lug nuts you use, steelies may be different that the nuts for your forged factory wheels.
Good luck!
Yeh that's not a bad idea. They aren't the steelies, regular "round hole" FJ Cruiser wheels. I would really like the 7 spoke "Star" wheels but they seem much harder to find.

Im assuming the nuts would be the same between the 150 and the FJ alloys?

I guess I'm more worried about the gearing.

1GR-FE, 5speed auto box. At fair altitude (Johannesburg is like 6000ft above sea level)
