I rebuilt the pump for the 2UZ in my 05 Tundra, it was stupid simple and cheap with the rebuild kit from Toyota. So yes, I'd say it was worth it. I assume the 100 uses the same pump?

I recently installed new oem R&P and outer tie rods. I’ve done a p/S flush and now I’m wondering if it is my pump? Steering is stiff at slow speeds and can hear my clockspring click on really cold days…(also replaced)

The only things left would lower ball joints and P/S pump…

Some folks have had to replace the steering shaft to resolve stiff steering. U joint on it starts to bind.

Keep your OEM, rebuild it. What is the issue you are having with the P/S pump? If oil is leaking, try using good quality branded fluid like Mobil-1, Valvoline etc., Cheap oil tends to leak, I have experienced it.

Yea I should have mentioned I did the intermediate driveshaft as well. Has me scratching my head… I guess I could do another flush to ensure all contaminants are out. And then leads to to a a new p/s pump or rebuild it.

It could be your idle up valve on the back of the pump. Make sure your vacuum lines are connected. I think a new one was about $65 last time I checked (because I broke the vacuum nipple...).
