Power steering in a 1981 BJ42

Hey guys, currently looking at a bj42 year 1981 and it has powersteering. Would this be an aftermarket or dos it come as an option in 1981?

Not sure it was an option in NA market for 1981 I know it was standard package for 83 all the 81 and 82s I have come across have all been armstrong.
Where is the box located this will be a tell tale sign if it was non OEM.
