That is an amazing looking 40. Given all that you've put into it, have you considered going with a bench seat up front for your 5th spot? I've got 5 kiddos too and with the long benches in the back and that bench seat up front we've got spots for everyone. Not sure what it'd be like for a long day on the trail, but just a thought.
All that said, I can imagine that as my crew grows we won't fit very well. A troopy does seem like the ideal solution. I'll be curious to see where you end up.

Sure wish I'd seen this before I sold my troopy - I love this rig (not that I need another 40, but have admired it for a long time). Have you sold it yet? Maybe give it to your nephew and do a troopy project with his '72.
Could not agree more. My first cruiser was a '72 as well which my folks got brand new and we still have in the family. That '72 of your nephew's looks like a fantastic start for sure.
