I personally would not use them period. But, certainly not exterior. The will corrode on you. You are better off using a marine crimp with adhesive shrink tubing.

I used something similar once and had problems. Do it right , do it once.

I have always soldered. Just looking for an easy way.
I want to do this for new bumper with swing out arms.
