Some details on the rig:

Fully mechanically sorted with tons of records from previous owner and we purchased out of Southern Oregon from second owner who owned it since 2016. We are the third owner the truck is a west coast rig (Nevada, California and Oregon) with zero rust issues. It has been baselined and set up to be a “turn key” rig that my wife and son have been using as a daily for the last year. We did all the fluids, brakes, spark plugs and a full tune up when we purchased it. No accidents on the truck/carfax however the previous owner painted the front bumper and I have receipts for the paint work as it went through his insurance.

The rig is 100% stock with the exception of the following modifications.

EC off-road wireless CarPlay set-up (imported from Australia as this is the best option for thr 2013-2015 cruisers.

5 Falken Wildpeak AT4 275/70/18 (includes spare)

OEM Front Spacer Lift with Slee anodized wheel spacers on all four corners

Baja Designs fog lights custom mounted (have stock lights as well)

The truck is fully detailed with paint correction completed. I also had the seats professionally cleaned, conditioned and sealed. The only thing this truck needs is a set of BP51’s 😁

Given the rarity of the color and condition I’m asking $55k.

Also forgot to mention that when I had the headlights restored I went ahead and added Diode Dynamics bright LED bulbs and upgraded the oem D2S bulbs to a modern LED equivalent that also had a higher lumens output.

The result is incredibly bright at night and captured a photo below with the Baja fog lights on. I went with the much less bright yellow fogs as I find the off-road spec’d ones obscene on the road when Tacoma/4runner Bro’s drive by. This rig gets a lot of attention and didn’t need to add to it 👍🏻

I saw an 08 in this color on our local Facebook Market place, $28k with 150k miles. It sat for months. Sure the color is rare but not worth the price.

It really depends on the part of the country you are in and the exact specs of the vehicle. The color is unique and adds value for those looking and 2013-2015 Amazon Green is the rarest spec out there (especially with black interior). Matters to some but the majority of folks are price oriented.

In the PNW people are paying $40-60k for stock 100 series LCs and close to $100k for heritage edition 200’s. It’s wild out here still!

Yes, people are asking those prices in the PNW. There appears to be a lot of people in this area that feel greedy and have their brains stuck in covid times regarding car values. The reality is if you speak with dealers or private party buyers, when it's all said and done no one is actually paying those prices. Which begs the question, why not just post a realistic asking price in the first place instead of all the bogus advertising and back/forth.
FYI, you can walk into a Toyota dealership and buy a new LC250 for under MSRP, which was unheard of in the PNW for years. I just did it. Times are changing.
Good luck with your sale but I'd recommend reflecting on your price. If you are using "that's what used dealerships are asking" as your market indicator for price, it's a bad dataset.

I don’t disagree the market is changing and the LC250 is not a fair comp in this case. My pricing has nothing to do with dealer prices but rather my personal knowledge of the PNW market for these. I’m surprised at what actual private party sales are still attracting for lower mileage or rare specs. A friend of mine just spent close to $50k on a 2000 black LC100 with 80k miles prior to baseline/shipping. Do I feel that is ridiculous - absolutely!

All to say I’m negotiable and I’ve had a lot of interest so far and people are coming forward with reasonable offers that start with a 5 in front of them. The heritage edition I’m looking at is also holding its value way better than the new LC250’s so I’d just reiterate that isn’t a fair comparison in this situation. Those trucks are 4-5k below MSRP across the west coast now and people are realizing they are a mass produced product. I drove one and loved it - very different experience to a 200 though.

I’ll never understand the shade some people throw at fellow Cruiser owners over their asking prices. As a collective, shouldn’t we all want our vehicles to sell for more? This one is a unicorn. I’d love to see what it would go for on BatT.

The problem with private party sales is they don’t translate to usable data points when setting market value. Most people buy vehicles from dealerships, not classifieds or auction sites. Another rule of thumb is mods don’t add value, if anything they take away. This is consistent across wholesale and retail. It’s a really sharp cruiser no doubt and green is one of my favorite colors but why pay $57k for this when you can find comps for $15k less?

I don’t think anyone on this thread was being disrespectful, but I’m still surprised at how often people criticize asking prices. Clearly, the seller is an enthusiast who babies his cruisers, especially this one. As someone who does the same with my 05, I would ask a premium for it if I ever decided to sell it. The expectation would be a buyer who appreciates how well it was taken care of.

100% agree, but I think KeithPDX was just trying to be pragmatic. I know a lot of us here are this type of buyer (me included), but we are becoming more and more rare. This truck looks amazing and it is really a beaut, but I think the seller would get much closer to his asking if they list it in BaT and set a resonable reserve. Good luck.

I love it and would jump on it if it were about 3 months from now! Timing is just not right for me. Very nice and GLWS!!!
