I'm going to get the body o off today, 88 FJ62, I'm going the route with the cherry picker. I won't be able to roll the chassis out because the arms below on the picker will be in the way. So I'll block up the body then pull the cherry picker out then roll the chassis out. Looking for ideas or products to attach the body so it's movable. I'm doing this partly in the driveway and the garage, mostly the driveway. I'm doing this with the power train in the chassis. I'll remove all that after the body is out of the way. I thought about buying a 4x6 and bolting it to the body and putting heavy duty casters on the beam. Any one in North Idaho want to rent me an auto body cart? Another thought is to put it on my flat bed trailer.

I would sure put it on a flatbed trailer for ease and safety. Building a temporary cart sounds like a lot of work.

I've used a homemade cart from 4x4s and castors, and also the little wagons you can get at Harbor Fright and the farm store for holding vabs, bodies, etc. They have various types, the one with foldable sides and wheelbarrow tires is actually not bad for the purpose. They're not very expensive and small enough to be out of the way when not in use.

I'll check that out. Thanks
