I have an extra FJ40 long side chrome-moly axle from Poly Performance. They cost $225 new and are said to be unbreakable . I used it 1 season, but it has less than 2000 miles on it. It also has 6 Toyota wheel studs. Perfect condition.

The reason I am selling is because I am switching to FJ60 axles on my FJ40.

This is the strongest available axle for an FJ40 housing.

Please note-this is the long side only. It will only fit FJ40, FJ45 or FJ55 semi-float axle housings.

Price $150 plus shipping, but I would prefer pick up in Sacramento.

No-the short side is fine, it's the same 40 vs 60, so I'm using it in the FJ60 axle. When I bought them from Poly, I bought a 60 long side, a 40 long side and only 1 short side. If it was a pair, it would be a lot more $$.

This axle has been through Rubicon 3 times, so even if you can't get there, your axle has already been!
