I'm not an alarmist and this isn't the first finding in recent years. Just putting this out as a heads up for anyone going in the area. I'd be wary of bringing dog up there than might pick up fleas and transport them home with you.

good to know, the flea problem has been a major issue this year for some reason? I have never had flea problems in the past but BAM, this year and both my dogs and cats had fleas. I am getting control of it but it has taken weekly flea baths, advantage, flea collars, home bombs and spray for their side yard. Has been a PIA and I have spent a small fortune.
