I have a 1994 4runner v6 that has been overheating. Yesterday i switched out the thermostat and now the truck will not run. It will start and run for just a few seconds and then it will die. I have had this problem before but it would always start eventually. any idea what it could be.

That shouldn't have anything to do with the thermostat... it must be something you messed with while changing it. I'm assuming it was starting fine before the T swap?

Maybe you bumped a wire loose or something? I've done the before.....

This can happen when the truck is running on the start up circuit, and doesn't detect a start and shuts the fuel pump off. Try checking the air flow meter wires. Also look over your vacuum hoses again too.
