pig newbie axle question

Ok I was searching for a 40 for the longest time but was never able to find the right project. During this time the 55 really started to grow on me. I have found one and am going to get it very soon. Depending on my work schedule. I have a question that I wasn't able to find an answer to through the "search" function.

What front and rear axles would a 71 pig have?

Pretty much the same front and rear axles as a '71 FJ40...drum brakes, course spline birfs, 4.1:1 diffs.

Cruise4070 broke a long side rear SF axle over the weekend and I was wondering what other cruisers use the same size so we can replace it ..

Fj40's depending on the year. early axle shafts were coarse spline, mid years ones were fine spline with press on bearing race, and later ones were fine spline with no press on bearing race. you need to find out what style it is and go from there...

Great a fj40 long is the same got a few hanging around .
I know its a 30 spline just have to check the race (i think it was non press on)
