I drive about 16 miles round trip through the city to work and back. Original 2F, new Weber carb and DUI ignition. I get right around 10 MPG. Not sure the carb is tuned for Michigan cold weather. I was away for work for about 3 weeks and took it to a local Maaco (!!) shop for some body work. The manager does a lot of rust through restores on classic muscle cars. He did the rear quarters (patch panel install), new rear sill install, patched rockers and passenger door bottoms for me. So now...she's that old green, rustoleum rust stop brown and black and primer grey on the qtrs and rockers...

that's my commute and my set up too!! I even have the same rust issues....except mine still exist

I found an early Bronco color called Lime Green Poly. How badly would I get flamed for using a non-cruiser color from the same era? I found a great photo, but won't post it unless no one minds.

Hey, 69! Post up! mine was a VW color and I loved it. Now its a krylon color and I .....think it's ok ,for now.
